Hold, Holding, Held

10/29/2021

Picture
Outside I can see
A refreshing world waits for me

She speaks
She sings stories

An invitation to explore
I could go where I’ve never gone before
There are no expectations
Nowhere to be
Nothing to do
Anything I wish to see

Even as I depart from her
She leaves a piece
|  held  |
In my soul

She is my home
