Shape, Line, & Color
I've been looking for new directions in my art. After unexpectedly finishing the last semester of my bachelor's degree online I felt stuck in my work. I closed the door on that chapter as now I look forward to the coming years in graduate school. During these strange times, I felt in limbo... then I turned to my art for structure and space for exploration. While creating a new studio space I went through literature, concepts, research, sketches, and artists that inspire me. What I needed was new work, something to satisfy a longing for balance between chaos and order. Geometric and hard-edged structures were inspired from my last collection of work, Dynamic Harmony, while colors became an area of exploration.
